Many companies hire data entry clerks overseas to do the jobs at a much cheaper rate. Some make only $3.50 or less in India and other countries. It makes you wonder about accuracy though. Other companies outsource these jobs in the U.S and hire folks who work at home to do this type of job. This can be a good job for those that cant commute for whatever reason or who need to be sitting to work.

When it comes to data entry training, the purpose is to help develop the necessary skills in an individual so that individual can effectively do their job with little or no problem.
